ZWO Seestar EQ Polar Wedge and Video Head: equatorial mode for the entire Seestar family
The Seestar S30, S30 Pro, and S50 are impressive smart telescopes, but their standard alt-azimuth mount has one limitation: field rotation. With the official ZWO TH10 Polar Wedge, you can tilt your Seestar to the exact latitude and transform it into an equatorial mount in seconds. The result: longer exposure times of up to 30 or even 60 seconds, without star trails or black borders in your stacks.

Why this upgrade makes the difference
- Equatorial mode (EQ): tilt range up to 90 degrees, making it usable worldwide (approx. 52 degrees for the Netherlands and Belgium)
- Fully compatible with the Seestar S50, Seestar S30, and Seestar S30 Pro
- Hydraulic damping system and precision scale for smooth alignment on Polaris
- CNC-machined aluminum: 411 grams (14.5 oz) dead weight, load capacity 5 kg (11 lb)
- Also usable as a 2-way video head with 360 degree panoramic rotation
That's how it works
Place the TH10 between your tripod and your Seestar. Set the head with the built-in protractor to the latitude of your location and aim it at Polaris. Then, activate the equatorial mode in the Seestar app. Your stacks will immediately show more detail, less noise, and a round field of view without rotation artifacts.
Compatibility
Official ZWO Accessory for the full Seestar family: the ZWO Seestar S30 Pro, the Seestar S30 and the Seestar S50. The connection is a 3/8 inch tripod thread on the bottom and a 1/4 or 3/8 inch screw on the top, so the wedge also fits on standard photo tripods.

I can now take 30 and 60-second photos perfectly. I couldn't do that before.
