Unistellar eQuinox 2 Smart Telescope

Made for the city: deep-sky despite light pollution

The Unistellar eQuinox 2 is developed for those who want to observe from the city or a garden with light pollution. The integrated Smart Light Pollution Reduction filters out disturbing city light and shows deep-sky objects with more contrast and color than a classic telescope of this size can. The 114 mm mirror with f/4 optics and a field of view of 34 by 47 arcminutes captures both the Orion Nebula and the Moon, as well as compact galaxies. Choose your version above: standalone unit or with a transport backpack.

No alignment, no settings

Via Autonomous Field Detection, the telescope determines its position itself, without the North Star and without manual steps. Tap an object in the app and the eQuinox 2 aligns, tracks, and stacks with Enhanced Vision: the image becomes brighter and more colorful as you observe. The built-in battery lasts up to 11 hours.

Contributing to real space research

The eQuinox 2 is part of the Unistellar Citizen Science Network in collaboration with NASA and SETI. Track asteroids, supernovae, or exoplanet transits and contribute data that is actually used. For families, that's often when stargazing becomes a project.

For: the city observer who looks at screens without an eyepiece and seeks maximum light pollution suppression. Not for: those who want the eyepiece feeling; the eVscope 2 adds an OLED eyepiece for that.
