The Star Adventurer Mini (SAM) is the smallest tracker in the Star Adventurer family: the head weighs just 650 grams and carries up to 3 kg. You can place it on virtually any photo tripod, mount your camera, and start tracking immediately. Stars remain sharp, even during longer exposures of the Milky Way or a night landscape.
The built-in WiFi connects to the free app on your phone: there you choose the tracking speed (sidereal, lunar, or solar), start a capture, or program a timelapse or panorama. The SNAP port automatically controls your camera's shutter. Two AA batteries or micro-USB provide power.
Complete as Pro Pack
This Pro Pack version includes the SAM head, the equatorial wedge (latitude base) for polar alignment, the declination bracket, the ball head adapter, and an illuminated polar scope. This makes the set immediately ready for tracking photography; only a tripod, ball head, and camera are yours to provide.
