Sky-Watcher RA Motor for EQ-1: The smallest mount, yet automatic tracking

This RA motor helps the EQ-1 keep stars and planets in view. It automatically compensates for Earth's rotation, so the object remains steady in the center of your eyepiece, even at higher magnifications of the moon and planets.

The installation is simple: the motor goes in place of the fine adjustment, insert the battery, and you're done. The included 9V battery lasts up to 40 hours.
