Sky-Watcher Evolux-62ED GoTo set: complete photo set without tripod
The same formula as the complete set, but without a tripod: the Evolux-62ED apo (62/400 mm) with the Star Adventurer GTi WiFi GoTo head, counterweight, polar scope, and field flattener. For those who already own a sturdy photo tripod with a 3/8-inch connection and want to avoid duplicate equipment. Total weight: 7.4 kg.

What can you photograph with it?
Short, fast apochromats are made for the major showpieces: the Andromeda Galaxy, the North America Nebula, the Pleiades, and sprawling H-alpha regions easily fit on the sensor. Stars remain sharp points without color fringing, from the center of the image far into the corners (with a flattener). Visually, such a tube provides wide, bright star fields.
Your tripod, their precision
The Star Adventurer GTi mount fits on any sturdy tripod with a standard connection. This makes it the lightest route to a complete GoTo astrophotography setup: the mount locates objects via the SynScan app and tracks the Earth's rotation for long exposures, while the flattener keeps the stars sharp right into the corners.
This is how to get the most out of this telescope
- Virtually no cooling time and no collimation: A refractor is ready within fifteen minutes, and the optics stay aligned. More time for photons.
- The setup determines your photo result: Use a tripod that supports at least 10 kg; a wobbly photo tripod will immediately cost you exposure time.
- Dew control is essential with lenses: A dew cap or dew heater prevents the front lens from fogging up in the middle of a session.
- Never look directly at the sun without protection., not even for one photo: only with a certified solar filter in front.
