Sky-Watcher EQ3 PRO SynScan GoTo: Automatic Tracking in the Lightweight Class

The EQ3 PRO combines the lightweight EQ3 mount with full SynScan GoTo control. Set it up, align to Polaris, and let the hand controller and its object database do the searching. The stepper motors on both axes then track accurately, also suitable for first astrophotography with short focal lengths.

The polar altitude is set precisely, and the polar axis scale aids in repeatable setup. The mount can be controlled via PC, and the firmware can be updated via the internet. With a load capacity of 5 kg, it comfortably carries a lightweight refractor or a compact Newtonian.
