This set combines the CQ350 Pro mount head with the matching 2.75-inch stainless steel tripod. In terms of payload capacity, the mount sits right between the EQ6-R and EQ8-R: 35 kg, which is enough for large telescopes and complete astrophotography setups. It can be used as a heavy-duty mobile setup as well as a permanent base in a backyard or club observatory.

The timing belt drive with stepper motors follows with an encoder resolution of approximately 0.023 arcseconds: quiet, smooth, and accurate enough for long exposures. The SynScan V5 hand controller offers 42,900 objects, optionally expandable with Wi-Fi app control. Autoguiding and PEC are supported.

Flexible for every pipe

The dual dovetail clamp accepts 45 mm and 75 mm rails, allowing you to switch between instruments without adapters. The heavy-duty stainless steel tripod keeps the complete setup vibration-free, even with an audience around it.
