Sky-Watcher AZ-GTi: GoTo Technology in a Lunchbox Size
The AZ-GTi is a compact, fully computer-controlled azimuthal mount. Despite weighing only 1.3 kg, it carries optics up to 5 kg and offers the same GoTo technology as larger systems. This makes it the ideal travel mount for visual observations and lightweight astrophotography with compact refractors, Maksutovs, and small Newtonians.
The integrated WiFi module replaces cables and the hand controller: you connect your smartphone or tablet to the mount's WiFi signal and control everything via the free SynScan app, with a database of 10,000 objects. Eight AA batteries or an external power supply provide the power.

This article only concerns the mounting head with a Vixen-style saddle. It fits virtually any photo or travel tripod with a 3/8 inch thread. Those who want the complete set should choose the AZ-GTi Mount & Tripod.
