Sky-Watcher 1.75-inch Tripod for EQ5 and HEQ5: The Foundation for the EQ5 Class
This stainless steel tripod is the standard base for the EQ5 and HEQ5 mounts. The 45mm (1.75 inch) legs quickly dampen vibrations, keeping the image steady at high magnifications. With a 30kg (66lb) load capacity, it has ample reserve for the head, counterweights, and telescope combined.
The tripod is also the base under the SKYTEE-2 set and fits the NEQ-5. The accessory tray locks the legs and keeps eyepieces within reach. The pointed feet are stable on grass and soft ground.
