Omegon Twinmaster AZ Mount with Stainless Steel Tripod: the Twinmaster complete with tripod
This version of the Twinmaster comes with a sturdy stainless steel tripod. The mount carries two instruments simultaneously, each up to 13 kg, which allows space for larger telescopes such as a 10-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain.

Why the tripod matters
With two heavy instruments, the tripod determines stability. Stainless steel is heavier than aluminum, and that is an advantage here: mass dampens vibrations. A lighter tripod would not be able to utilize the payload capacity of the mount.

Detail and overview
Mount a telescope and binoculars, or two telescopes. This way you can see an object from two sides: the wide star field and the details within it, without switching instruments.

Setup and clamping
The GP rails accommodate any instrument with a standard dovetail. Fine adjustment per axis and manual clamps ensure you center accurately and the setup stays in place afterward.
Included
- Altazimuth mount with dual Vixen GP dovetail clamps
- Stainless steel tripod
- Fine adjustment per axis
Featured accessories
