Omegon RCA USB Cable for Dew Heaters: getting a dew heater to work with just a power bank

A dew heater strip normally requires a controller and a 12 V source. For anyone using just a single strip, that is a lot of equipment for a simple task. This cable cuts out both: you plug it into a regular USB power bank and the strip heats up.

The conversion from 5 to 12 V is in the cable itself. There is nothing to adjust; the strip operates at a fixed power. That is sufficient for strips up to 40 cm, the size for finders, eyepieces, and small tubes.
