Omegon Pro SII 7nm Filter 1.25 inch: 7 nm carbon filter for the Hubble palette
A professional narrowband filter that only allows light at around 672 nanometers, the emission line of ionized sulfur. Together with H-alpha and OIII, this wavelength forms the classic basis of the Hubble spectrum.

Very narrow opening
With a bandwidth of 7 nanometers, the filter is effective in suppressing unwanted light, whether it comes from the moon or from artificial lighting. This results in high contrast, even when shooting from suburban areas.
Making Zwave emissions visible
The high transmission in the SII range makes it possible to capture weak soot emissions in objects such as the Rosettenevel and the Krabnevel. These structures remain completely invisible without a filter.
Consistent set
If you choose the same 7-nanometer bandwidth for all three channels, the exposure times per channel are more comparable and combining them into a color image is simpler.
Featured accessories
Combine with the Pro H-alpha 7nm and Pro OIII 7nm in 1.25 inch for a consistent narrowband set in the same filter wheel.
