Omegon MiniTrack LX Quattro NS Astrotracker: the successor, up to 4 kg and both hemispheres
The LX Quattro NS is the successor to the LX3, redesigned and beefed up at every key point. The load capacity went from 3 to 4 kg, and the NS designation means you can align in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
The MiniTrack works entirely mechanically: you wind it up like a kitchen timer, and it tracks the stars for up to an hour. No batteries, no cables, no firmware. On a cold night far from home, that's just one less thing that can break.

Needle bearing instead of plain bearing
While the LX3 uses a Teflon slide bearing, the Quattro has a needle bearing. That runs smoother under load, which is precisely the point where a tracker with a heavy telephoto lens would otherwise run into trouble.

Stronger suspension system
The redesigned suspension system replaces a counterweight and distributes the force more evenly, without unilateral tension in the mechanism. As a result, the tracking speed remains more consistent, even with a heavily loaded setup.

Universal mounting
The tracker fits virtually any camera tripod via a 1/4-inch or 3/8-inch thread. The Vixen mount makes it compatible with latitude wedges, allowing for more accurate alignment than with the tripod alone.

Up to about 300 mm
This class is suitable for wide-angle shots and telephoto lenses up to about 300 mm. With longer brand focal lengths, the requirements for polar alignment increase so rapidly that a motorized mount becomes more practical.
