Omegon MightyMak 60/700 Maksutov: de reis-Maksutov met LED-zoeker

The Omegon MightyMak 60 met LED-zoeker is de complete uitvoering van de kleinste MightyMak: dezelfde 60/700 Maksutov-optiek (f/11,7), maar met een LED red dot-zoeker al op de zoekerbasis gemonteerd. Richten met beide ogen open, puntje op je doel, kijken. Zo vind je de Maan of Jupiter in seconden.

The MightyMak is a Maksutov-Cassegrain: a closed tube with a coated meniscus lens at the front. Dust and moisture stay out, collimation is rarely needed, and the lens suppresses reflections for a high-contrast image.

De LED-zoeker maakt het verschil

Bij 700 mm brandpuntsafstand is het beeldveld smal en is een zoeker geen luxe maar noodzaak. De red dot projecteert een rood puntje op de echte hemel, zodat je zonder zoeken richt. Precies het onderdeel dat je bij de standaarduitvoering zelf zou bijkopen.

What you see with a 60 mm aperture

Met het meegeleverde 25 mm oculair kijk je op 28x en zie je de maanschijf met kraters, de maantjes van Jupiter en de ring van Saturnus. Met extra oculairs is tot ongeveer 120x bruikbaar. De buis weegt slechts 0,6 kilo en past in vrijwel elke tas.

Telephoto lens and spotting scope in one

Via the T2 thread with a buffer ring, you connect a camera and use the MightyMak as a super telephoto lens. During the day, with the zenith mirror, it's a fully functional spotting scope for birds and landscapes, with an upright image. The GP dovetail fits almost any astronomical mount, and three photo threads make any tripod usable. This way, the tube can later grow with a larger setup.
