Omegon iOptron mount adapter for Pro Pier: iOptron mounts on the Pro Pier

The Omegon Pro Pier replaces a tripod with a fixed central column, but every mount has its own base size. This adapter plate forms the exact transition between the pier and your mount, without play and without improvisation.

This version is made for iOptron mounts from the CEM26 up to and including the CEM70. The plate screws onto the pier head and provides the bolt pattern and centering that the mount fits directly onto.

Mounted without play

Play between the pier and mount translates directly into vibration and shifting of the polar alignment. The adapter is machined to the exact size of the pier, so the connection is and remains rigid.

The complete iOptron lineup

The adapter covers almost the entire iOptron line, from the compact CEM26 to the CEM70. This way, a growing setup can move along without a new pier adapter.
