This set is a complete, all-in-one guiding solution: the Microspeed Guidescope 60 mm (f/4, 240 mm focal length) with the monochrome Omegon Guide 462 M camera. Connect, align, and your exposures can be longer.

The advantage of a set is that the parts are matched to each other: the camera is at the focal point of the guidescope without fiddling with adapters.

Microspeed-focuser: your follower remains in place

The worm gear focuser with 10mm travel does not rotate the camera during focusing. With a regular focuser, the camera rotates and your chosen guide star disappears; here it stays exactly where it is.

Guide 462 M: sensitive to infrared

The monochrome Sony IMX462 sensor is exceptionally sensitive in low light and near-infrared. Without a Bayer filter, all light reaches the pixel, allowing you to almost always find a usable guide star, even on a compact guidescope.

Via the ST4 port, the camera corrects your mount directly; PHD2 and N.I.N.A. recognize it immediately.

Also deployable independently

Outside of guiding nights, the 462 M is a strong planetary camera: high frame rates and infrared sensitivity enable lucky imaging through moderate seeing.
