Omegon 6×30 Finder with dovetail: the standard viewfinder for smaller telescopes
A viewfinder is essentially a small telescope that supports your large telescope. This 6×30 captures about eighteen times more light than the naked eye, allowing stars to be seen that you wouldn’t see without a device.
The wide field of view at 6x magnification provides overview, and the built-in wire grid allows you to precisely center the object before looking through the main telescope.

Features
- 6x magnification, 30 mm opening
- Dradenkruis for precise centering
- Approximately 18x more light output than the naked eye
- Wide field of view
Compatibility
Pay attention to the image orientation: a standard viewfinder gives an upside-down image, which makes comparing it to a star map more difficult. Versions with a portrait orientation are more forgiving in this regard, especially for beginners. This version gives an upside-down image; there is also a version with a portrait orientation.
