The Levenhuk New Skyline PRO 16-inch Retractable makes the largest Skyline portable: the same 406 mm parabolic mirror with 3364 times the light gathering power of the naked eye, in a collapsible truss tube. This makes an observatory-class instrument something you can take to the darkest spots in the Netherlands and beyond.

The greatest, made practical

When retracted, the tube shrinks considerably; together with the detachable rocker box, transport by two people is manageable. Primary mirror cooling and the 8x40 optical finder are standard, and a shroud around the truss is the recommended first addition. The 25mm and 10mm Plössl eyepieces provide 73x and 183x magnification.

For: the demanding deep-sky observer who wants to combine sixteen inches with mobility. Not for: those who rarely transport their equipment; the fixed PRO 16 or the GSO 16 inch Truss are then the alternatives to compare.
