iOptron SkyHunter Pier-Extension

This half-beam raises your SkyHunter 190 mm above the tripod. Without the elevation, the telescope could hit the tripod legs when looking at steep viewing angles; with the half-beam, the tube rotates freely. If you use a refractor, the eyepiece also reaches a more natural viewing height.

The aluminum half-post screws into place with the standard 3/8 inch connection between the tripod and the mounting bracket, adding hardly any weight.
