iOptron RS232 / RJ9 Cable: Serial Cable for the Hand Controller

This cable connects the serial port of your Go2Nova 8407 or 8408 hand controller to your computer. It allows you to perform firmware updates and control the mount via ASCOM and planetarium software.

Connect and go: the cable requires no separate installation on the remote control.

Essential for updates

iOptron provides its own firmware per mount; this cable is the physical link to install it on the 8407 and 8408. Modern laptops without a serial port will also need the USB-to-RS232 adapter.
