iOptron Control Box iMate: control computer for your complete imaging setup

The iMate is a complete control computer for your astrophotography setup. The device mounts on the mount and runs KStars (planetarium), Ekos (capture control), and INDI drivers on a 64-bit ARM processor with 32 GB of internal storage.

Mount, camera, filter wheel, focuser, and guide camera connect directly to the iMate. Via WiFi, you take over the desktop from a tablet, phone, or laptop and control the entire session, from inside your house or next to the telescope.

The laptop stays inside

No dew on the keyboard and no more battery issues: the iMate stays outside with the setup, you operate it wirelessly. Sequences, plate solving, autofocus, and guiding run independently on the unit itself.

Open ecosystem

INDI supports equipment from almost all major brands, so the iMate also controls your non-iOptron cameras and accessories. You can update firmware and software via the network connection.
