This 8-inch (20 cm) MiniPier raises your CEM26 or GEM28 to a higher level on the tripod. Around the zenith, cameras and filter wheels quickly clash with the legs; with this extension, the setup rotates freely in any position. Additionally, the extra height saves bending when focusing and framing.
The aluminum post is mounted with the included spacers and screws between the tripod and mounting bracket and maintains the rigidity of the setup. If you need 20 cm more than you need, there is also a 14 cm version available for these mounting brackets.
