iOptron 8407+ Hand Control Go2Nova: Go2Nova hand control for the CEM60 and iEQ Pro class

The Go2Nova 8407+ is the hand-held control for iOptrons medium-duty GoTo mounts. The illuminated LCD display with 8 lines and 21 characters displays menu and object information clearly, even in the dark.

The database contains over 212,000 objects: planets, stars, Messier, NGC, and IC objects. Choose an object, confirm, and the assembly starts moving towards it.

Service and speeds

You can adjust the mounting with 9 adjustable speeds, from fine tracking to fast moving, with a silent mode for quiet sessions. The hand control remains operational down to -20 °C, so even in cold winter nights.

Using the serial port, you can update the firmware and connect the manual control to the computer.

Compatibility

The 8407+ is compatible with the iEQ30 Pro, iEQ45 Pro, CEM60 and AZ Mount Pro. Depending on your setup, you first load the appropriate firmware from the iOptron website. Note: the 8407+ does not work with an iEQ45 that came with the older 8406 hand control.
