Six-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain: compact size, great performance
The Celestron NexStar 6 SLT combines classic C6 optics with a fully automated GoTo system. The 150mm Schmidt-Cassegrain with a 1500mm focal length (f/10) captures 459 times more light than the naked eye and delivers sharp, high-contrast images of the Moon, planets, and countless deep-sky objects. And all of this in a tube shorter than your forearm.

SkyAlign and illuminated hand controller
Aligning on three random bright objects is sufficient: the computer automatically recognizes the sky. The backlit hand controller works well in the dark and provides access to over 4,000 objects. Connect the optional SkyPortal WiFi module, and you can control the system from your smartphone or tablet.

StarBright XLT in a sealed tube
The correction plate seals the tube against dust and airflow, while the StarBright XLT coating maximizes light transmission. The 25mm and 9mm eyepieces provide 60x and 167x magnification. It's realistically usable up to around 300x, which is enough to resolve the Cassini Division in Saturn's rings under calm skies.

Grows with you
The rear accepts standard SCT threads: T-adapters, reducers, and cameras fit directly. This allows you to start visually and expand the system later towards planetary photography. The complete set weighs approximately 10 kg and is ready in minutes.
