The largest tabletop dobsonian with smart navigation
The Celestron StarSense Explorer Dobson 150 mm It is the top model among the table-top Dobsonians in the StarSense series. The 150mm parabolic mirror collects 459 times more light than the naked eye: enough for hundreds of deep-sky objects. Your smartphone analyzes the sky in real time via the StarSense Explorer app and guides you with arrows to your target. No motors, no alignment, just follow, point, and look.

Plate solving: observatory technology on your phone
The app takes a recording of the night sky with the phone camera, recognizes the patterns, and immediately knows where the telescope is pointed. Choose an object from the evening list, follow the arrows, and look as soon as the viewfinder turns green. Even as an absolute beginner, you can confidently navigate the night in just a few minutes.

150 mm parabolic mirror at f/5
The 150/750 optics combine a lot of light-gathering power with a wide field of view. Globular clusters resolve into individual stars, the Orion Nebula shows structure, and hundreds of craters appear on the Moon. The 25mm and 10mm eyepieces provide 30x and 75x magnification, respectively. A realistic usable magnification is up to about 300x under steady skies.

Compact enough for a table, balcony, and car
The wooden Dobsonian mount can be placed on any sturdy table or chest and rotates smoothly in two directions. With a total weight of approximately 11 kg, you can take the set to your garden or a dark site in one go.

Ready to grow with you
The 1.25-inch focuser accepts all common eyepieces and filters. The included collimation cap keeps the mirror perfectly aligned. If you later seek more magnification or contrast, you can easily expand with additional eyepieces and a moon filter.
