The classic start: long refractor for the Moon and planets!

The Bresser Classic 60/900 AZ is a classic long refractor for taking first steps in astronomy. The 60 mm lens with a 900 mm focal length (f/15) provides steady, high-contrast images of the Moon and bright planets. The alt-azimuth mount works intuitively: pan, tilt, view.

Long focal point, calm image

At f/15, color shifting remains minimal and inexpensive eyepieces are already sharp. Craters on the Moon, Saturn's rings, and Jupiter's moons are clearly visible. The maximum useful magnification is around 120x. The three included eyepieces and the Barlow lens cover the range up to that point.

Included

  • Achromatic optics 60/900
  • Alt-azimuth mount with aluminum tripod
  • Three eyepieces (1.25-inch)
