Bresser Messier 90/500 Refractor Nano AZ

Exploring star fields without a manual!

The Bresser Messier 90/500 Nano AZ is the most accessible wide-field telescope in the Messier line. Aiming is like using a photo tripod, and the wide field of view forgives minor pointing errors: perfect for learning to know the starry sky by scanning.

Fast achromatic lens for overview

The 90 mm lens gathers about 165 times more light than the naked eye and shows a large patch of sky at 19x magnification. Honest advice: this fast design produces color fringing on bright objects at high magnification; it is a wide-field scope, not a planetary specialist.

Nano AZ Mounting

The azimuthal Nano mount points intuitively in two directions. Together with the wide field of view, this makes this set exceptionally beginner-friendly.

Included

• Achromatic optics 90/500
• Nano AZ azimuthal mount with stainless steel tripod
• 26mm eyepiece (1.25 inch)
• 6×30 viewfinder
• 90 degree star diagonal

Featured accessories

The Bresser Plössl 10 mm eyepiece (50x, 29 euros) zooms in on star clusters. An Omegon Premium moon filter (19.90 euros) dims the moonlight.

For whom yes, for whom no

Ideal for beginners who want to discover the sky by scanning without technology. Not for planet observers; choose the 90/900 Nano AZ instead. Compare via the Buying guide or bij telescopes for beginners. Meer Bresser is on the brand page.
