10 inch deep-sky power: the step towards serious observations!

The Bresser Messier 254/1270 is a 10-inch Dobsonian for those taking the step towards serious deep-sky observation. The 254 mm parabolic primary mirror collects over 1300 times more light than the naked eye. Globular clusters like M13 resolve into thousands of stars, gas nebulae show structure, and galaxies begin to take shape.

10-inch optics with f/5

The focal length of 1270 mm (f/5) keeps the tube relatively short and the field of view wide. Large objects like the Veil Nebula fit entirely within the field of view with a 2-inch eyepiece. The mirror also performs strongly on planets: at 250x, you can see detail in Jupiter's cloud bands.

2.5-inch Hexafoc Focuser

The Hexafoc has a 2.5-inch clear aperture and handles heavy 2-inch eyepieces without sagging or vignetting. Adapters for 1.25-inch and 2-inch are included.
