The universal 8-inch tube: deep-sky, planets, and photography!
The Bresser Messier 203/1200 Hexafoc OTA is the universal 8-inch for your own setup. With f/6 it sits between deep-sky and planetary photography, and the supplied T2 adapter makes the leap to lunar and planetary photography immediately. Via the Vixen-style dovetail clip, the tube clicks onto any mounting with a standard Vixen clamp.

Parabolic 8-inch optics
The parabolic 203 mm mirror captures more than 800 times as much light as the naked eye. The 1218 mm (f/6) focal point gives the nebula structure and also puts Jupiter at a comfortable distance for high magnification; keep the magnification at around 406x. With the 26 mm eyepiece, you can view at 47x.
Which mount fits this?
Here too: the Bresser EXOS-2/EQ-5 tripod mount (539 euros) is the minimum for this size; the Bresser EXOS-2 EQ GoTo mount (998 euros) automatically adds search and tracking. The long tube adds every extra kilogram of stability.
