Artesky Adapter M98/M72: the rigid link in your optical train
The Artesky M98/M72 adapter converts an M98 connection to M72 thread. This allows you to connect accessories with M72 threads, such as field flatteners, correctors, and reducer rings, to telescopes with a large M98 output, like various Takahashi refractors.
The adapter adds no optical length (0 mm), so the prescribed working distance of your flattener or corrector remains intact.

All metal, no play
In astrophotography, the entire camera setup hangs on this connection. The all-metal construction and the precisely cut threads keep the connection rigid and perpendicular, even with a heavy camera and filter wheel attached.
Featured accessories
Before purchasing, check the threads on both sides of your optical train: this adapter goes from M98 on the telescope side to M72 on the accessory side.
For whom yes and for whom no
- ✓ Astrophotographers with a Takahashi or similar refractor with an M98 thread who want to connect M72 accessories
- Setups without M98 connection: check the size, as adapter fittings are not reversible
