Adapter for SBIG STL 1100 on AP end cap, 3.5 inch, 75×1 mm to 2.156×24 tpi | Starlight

If you are using a SBIG STL 1100 camera and your focus ring has an AP thread end cap, these two do not just fit together. With this adapter for the SBIG STL 1100, you can still screw the camera directly onto the focus ring. On one side there is a 75×1 mm external thread, on the other side a 2.156 inch external thread with 24 threads per inch.

With 0.125 inch, approximately 3 mm, the adapter adds hardly any length. However, if you need to use a flattener or reducer at a fixed distance from the sensor, you should take those few millimeters into account.
