Adapter for Celestron C11 and C14, 3.29 inch x 16 tpi, fits on Feather Touch 3 inch | Starlight

With a C11 or C14, the image often shifts just a little when you are almost sharp with the main mirror, especially when photographing or with planets at high magnification. With this adapter for a 3-inch Feather Touch on your Celestron C11 or C14, you first set the mirror up coarsely in the correct position and then fine-tune the focus with the focus ring.

The 3.29-inch inner thread with 16 threads per inch fits the large screw thread on the back of this Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. The adapter is 2.335 inches long, approximately 59 mm.

Be aware that the extra length of the adapter and the focus ring move the focus point outwards. You can compensate for this with the main mirror, but when shooting at fixed distances you should better calculate it beforehand.

If you work with a 2 inch focus lens, then there is an adapter for 2 inch focusers. If you would rather keep the mirror focus, then look at the fine focus lens for the C14.
