12 inches with the Radiant: into the deep sky, by sight!
The Omegon ProDob 304/1500 DOB II Radiant is the most affordable route to 12 inches in the ProDob line. The Radiant finder scope makes star-hopping to faint objects intuitive: aiming circles on the real sky, both eyes open.

304 mm optics with fan
The 304 mm parabolic mirror with built-in fan cools quickly and then shows its full sharpness. With the 32 mm SWA eyepiece, you view at 47x with a wide field of view; practically usable up to approximately 350x, depending on the atmosphere.
Follow without jolts
The deluxe friction and bearing system moves the axes with adjustable resistance, keeping the image precisely where you set it, even at high magnification. The 2-inch Crayford focuses smoothly, and the included SWA 32mm 2-inch wide-angle eyepiece provides a generous overview right away. The Radiant finderscope projects aiming circles onto the sky, allowing you to directly translate your star chart to the real sky.

For whom yes, for whom no
For: observers who want to look at high magnification for a long and comfortable time; this friction system is made for that. Not for: those who buy purely on price; the Advanced X-line offers the same apertures more affordably with simpler mechanics. Compare on the Dobson page via Buying guide. Meer Omegon stands on the merk page.
