This 6mm eyepiece from the Omegon UWA (Ultra Wide Angle) series offers an impressively wide image at a competitive price. With a 66° field of view, you can comfortably observe without a tunnel-like image. This keeps a planet or deep-sky object in focus longer without much adjustment.
The eyepieces feature a multilayer coating and five lens elements, which keeps light transmission high and details easily visible. This combination produces a calm, high-contrast image. Thanks to the large eyepiece lens and the soft rubber, flip-over eyecup, your viewing is relaxed, even at higher magnifications.
With a focal length of 6mm, this eyepiece is ideally suited for high magnifications, for example for studying craters on the moon, details in planetary discs or compact deep-sky objects.
