iOptron Adapter iAFS2 / TeleVue 76/85: telescope adapter for the iAFS2

With this aluminum adapter, you can mount the iOptron iAFS2 automatic focus on TeleVue 76 and TeleVue 85 refractors. The adapter forms the fixed, backlash-free transition between the telescope and the focus. The connection on the telescope side is 3″-24TPI.

A rigid coupling is essential for an autofocusser: any play translates into focus shift as soon as the tube changes position.

Light, stiff and ready to mount

Aluminum is lightweight and dimensionally stable: the adapter adds virtually no weight to the rear of the tube and keeps the focuser perfectly aligned with the optical axis. Installation is simply screwing it on; no modifications to the telescope are necessary.
