The Explore Scientific 102/714 ED FCD-100 Carbon iEXOS-100 GoTo combines top optics with intelligent control. Hoya's FCD-100 glass delivers a Strehl ratio of 0.97, a value normally found in much more expensive astrographs. Color correction and contrast are among the absolute best in this price range.

Carbon tube, large focuser

The lightweight carbon tube has a transport length of only 55 cm with the dew shield retracted: a true travel scope. The Hexafoc 2.5-inch focuser with 1:10 fine adjustment offers 64 mm of free travel, so even larger sensors remain free of vignetting, with a filter wheel or flattener in the train.

iEXOS-100 PMC-8 Wi-Fi GoTo

The iEXOS-100 mount with PMC-8 control finds and tracks objects fully automatically via Wi-Fi and the free app. This set combines visual convenience with the tracking accuracy required for astrophotography with short to medium exposures. Visually meaningful up to approximately 200x magnification.
