Sky-Watcher Telescope AC 120/1000 EvoStar OTA is an achromatic refractor with an aperture of 120 mm and a focal length of 1000 mm (f/8.3). This telescope combines high resolution with excellent light output, allowing you to experience detailed planetary observations as well as the observation of deep-sky objects.

For planets, the telescope offers sharp, high-contrast images. You can see details such as the polar caps of Mars, the cloud bands and Great Red Spot on Jupiter and the rings of Saturn. Thanks to the relatively long aperture ratio, chromatic aberrations are well suppressed.

With the 120 mm aperture, you collect almost three times as much light as with a classic 70 mm refractor. This makes deep-sky objects such as the Ring Nebula, the Orion Nebula and globular clusters like M13 visible. Combined with a 2″ wide-angle eyepiece, you enjoy wide fields of stars - ideal for deepsky exploration.

The 2″ focuser with T2 thread allows the use of both 1.25″ and 2″ eyepieces and also provides connection for cameras. This makes this EvoStar suitable not only for visual observation, but also for basic astrophotography of the Moon, planets and bright nebulae.

The tube is stylishly finished in black metallic and features a sturdy dovetail for quick mounting on a suitable mount.
