On planets, the moon and double stars, precision focusing makes the difference, and that doesn't happen very smoothly with many standard focusers. With this focus adapter for the Intes MN56, you attach a 2-inch focus from Starlight Instruments to this Maksutov-Newton. The Feather Touch is known for its smooth movement, making it easier to find the sharp point.
The MN56 is a Maksutov-Newton, a variant of the Newton telescope with mirrors with a corrector lens in the front. Check that your telescope is indeed a MN56, because other Intes models may have a different connection.
Also look at the build height of the new focus lens, because with a Newtonian design that determines where the focal point of focus is. If your eyepieces no longer focus properly after the change, it’s usually because of this. Refocus the telescope after replacing it, for example with a 2 inch laser collimator and our explanation about collimating.
