ZWO Off-Axis-Guider: Guide Through Your Own Telescope

An off-axis guider captures a sliver of your main telescope's light path with a small prism and directs it to the guide camera. Guiding through the same optics as the imaging means no flexure, no separate guidescope, and therefore no differential tracking errors, especially at longer focal lengths.

This ZWO OAG has a generous 8 x 8 mm prism, ensuring sufficient guide stars are available even at the edge of the field. With an optical length of only 16.5 mm, it fits into tight imaging trains with a filter wheel and cooled camera. Adapters for M48, T2, and 1.25 inches are included.

Compatibility

Suitable for virtually any telescope and camera combination, from DSLRs to ASI. Combine with a mini guide camera such as the ASI120MM Mini or ASI220MM Mini in the 1.25 inch guide port. For full-frame sensors and long focal lengths, the OAG-L with a larger prism is the more spacious choice.
