Omegon Yellow Color Filter #12 2-inch: a mild all-purpose filter
This yellow color filter is a simple yet effective tool for seeing more detail. By filtering out a portion of the blue light, structure and contrast are brought out better: on Mars, the polar caps and dust storms; on Jupiter, the cloud belts.
Yellow is one of the milder color filters. It blocks little light, which makes it work well even on smaller telescopes and keeps the image looking natural.

Features
- Warts #12, yellow
- Requires little light, usable even on smaller telescopes
- Solid-colored filter glass
- Standard 2-inch thread
Compatibility
For telescopes with a 2-inch light path. Also effective on lunar craters. Color filters work best on a telescope with an aperture of approximately 100 mm or more: the filter reduces light, and the aperture must be able to compensate for that.
