Sharp stars for precise guiding
The William Optics Apo61 is a compact guidescope with an FPL-53 objective. This glass produces bright, sharp stars so that your main telescope tracks accurately. Perfect for refractors with a focal length of 700 to 1200 mm.

Suitable for astrophotography
With the optional Flat61 flattener, you can also use the Apo61 for astrophotography. You then get a flat image field, ideal for small camera mounts. This makes it easy to take clear, sharp night shots.
Easy focusing
Helicoidal focusing works through the dew cap. Loosen the ribbed counter ring, slide the cap until the focus is correct, and tighten. The retractable extension piece on the back gives added flexibility. So you'll always find the perfect focus quickly.

Solid and practical construction
The Apo61 is made of aluminum. It is light (1.44 kg) and 340 mm long. The guidescope has a dovetail for easy mounting and comes with a transport bag. Everything is designed for stability and convenience.
