William Optics 50mm Guidescope UniGuide Gold: the all-round guide, in gold

The William Optics UniGuide 50mm is the most versatile guidescope in the line: a fully multi-coated 50mm (2 inch) aperture doublet with a 200mm focal length (f/4) and a 5.7-degree field of view. Ample enough to always find a guide star quickly, with enough focal length for accurate guiding.

The slide-base rail in Vixen/Synta style slides directly into the carrying handles of William Optics telescopes; at 460 g (1 lb) and 265 mm length, the setup remains light and compact. This version is gold.

RotoLock on M48

The 1.25-inch RotoLock securely and exactly centers your guide camera with a single twist, even when wearing gloves. Below the RotoLock is an M48 thread for cameras and accessories with a threaded connection. Standard 1.25-inch guide cameras fit directly; for T-thread cameras, check the backfocus.

Focus and dew

The helical focusing on the front lens operates smoothly and holds focus from night to night. The retractable dew shield keeps the front lens free of condensation for longer.
