Tube adapter for FTF3035B on the Takahashi FS102 and TSA102, 3 inch | Feather Touch by Starlight

If you’re shooting with a heavy camera, filter wheel or flatener, or want to focus very precisely visually, a larger focus ring is interesting. With this tube adapter for a Feather Touch on your Takahashi FS102 or TSA102, you can mount the FTF3035B, a 3-inch focus ring from Starlight Instruments, on your telescope.

The adapter fits in the place of the original focuser and forms the connection between the tube and the new focuser. Before ordering, check that you actually have an FS102 or TSA102, because other Takahashi models have a different size. Both are Refracting telescopes with an opening of 102 mm.

Work while changing the focus lens in a clean space and keep the lens covered. Plan your setup with a filter wheel and camera, then check beforehand whether everything falls within the focus range.

For Takahashi accessories with M72 x 1 mm wire, there is an end cap for the 3 inch focuser.
