De TeleVue Starbeam is de LED-zoeker in zijn meest luxueuze vorm: een gefreesde aluminium behuizing, een groot projectievenster en een traploos regelbare rode stip. Deze uitvoering wordt geleverd met een basis voor Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopen.

De basis monteert op de gangbare schroefgaten van de SC-buis, waarna de zoeker met een handgreep te plaatsen en te verwijderen is zonder de uitlijning te verliezen.

Aim with both eyes open

The Starbeam projects a red dot onto a large, bright window. You look through it with both eyes at the actual sky and align the dot with your target: where the dot is, the telescope points.

The window is significantly larger than with conventional red-dot sights, and the viewing is flexible: the dot remains visible even from an angle. The brightness is continuously adjustable to a level that preserves your dark adaptation, and the flip cover protects the optics when the sight is not in use.

Why a

An optical viewfinder magnifies and mirrors; you have to learn to think differently. A dot in the real sky asks for nothing: you see the constellation as on the map and place the dot in the right spot.

Combined with a low-power wide-field eyepiece, that's the fastest way of star-hopping for most observers, even without GoTo.

Deze uitvoering: met SC-basis

De meegeleverde voet is gemaakt voor de buis van een Schmidt-Cassegrain en vervangt of benut de standaard zoekerbevestiging van de buis.

Gebruik je naast de SC nog een tweede telescoop, dan is een losse extra voet voldoende om de ene Starbeam op beide instrumenten te wisselen.
