This 25.4 mm extension piece is designed for the TeleVue Imaging System and ensures the correct distance between the field lens and the CCD chip of your camera. A precisely set back focus is essential to leverage the full performance of your field corrector or flattener.

With this spacer ring, you add exactly 25.4 mm a new addition to your optical train within TeleVue 2.4" system.

Optimal distance for field correction

In astrophotography, a small deviation in distance can already affect image quality in the corners of the field of view. This extension helps you to precisely adjust the total mechanical distance to the specified requirements.

The ring is black anodized to reduce internal reflections and prevent contrast loss. It is a mechanical component without optical elements and only affects image quality through the correct positioning of other components.

Compatible with 2.4″ focusers

This extension is suitable for the TeleVue 2.4" system and connect to compatible 2.4″ focusers in adapters within this system.
