Sky-Watcher 40 mm Super Plössl: maximum exit pupil and viewing comfort
The Super Plössl design with four lenses in two groups has been the reliable standard among eyepieces for decades: sharp, high-contrast, and virtually free of color aberrations. The multiple coating maintains high light transmission, ensuring that even fainter objects remain bright.

The 40 mm delivers the largest exit pupil in the series: pleasant for long focal ratios and for a relaxed overview. To be fair: due to the field stop of the 1.25-inch barrel, it does not show more sky than the 32 mm, but rather a calmer, brighter image.
Features
- Super Plössl Design: 4 elements in 2 groups
- 52 degree field of view
- Multiple coatings for high light transmission
- 1.25 inch vatting met filterdraad
Compatibility
Fits in any 1.25 inch focuser or zenith mirror, from entry-level telescopes to Dobsonians. A logical upgrade from the standard included eyepieces.
