Sky-Watcher NEQ-5 Pro upgrade kit: Your EQ5 becomes a full-fledged GoTo mount

With this kit, you give your existing EQ5 mount full GoTo functionality. Select an object on the SynScan LCD hand controller and the mount will automatically slew to it, with a positioning accuracy of up to 1 arcminute. The database contains over 42,900 objects, including the complete Messier, NGC, and IC catalogs, plus room for your own favorites.

The stepper motors (1.8 degrees per step) slew up to 3.4 degrees per second and then track at guiding speeds from 0.25x to 1x. PEC (periodic error correction) and PC connection also make the kit photographically interesting: together with an autoguider, your motorized EQ5 becomes a serious imaging platform. Firmware updates are done via the supplied RS-232 cable.

Compatibility
