This offers two direct advantages: you can comfortably view through long refractors without bending over, and your telescope or camera rotates freely without hitting the tripod legs. Especially for zenith shots, this extra space prevents interrupted sessions.

The 1.1 kg construction is built to maintain the stiffness of your setup: gain height without sacrificing stability. Note: the four versions of this pillar extension differ in flange connection; this version fits mountings with EQ5/HEQ5 tripod connection.
