Where the difference lies

At low magnification (merk), you’ll hardly notice a wobbly tripod. At high magnification when observing planets, every vibration is magnified, and the tripod then determines how long you have to wait before the image stabilizes again. That’s why serious mounts are rarely mounted on a lightweight photo tripod.
