Omegon Solar Filter for 130mm Telescopes: Safely observe the sun with 130mm aperture telescopes.
With this filter, your telescope becomes a white-light solar telescope: sunspots, their structure, and the limb darkening of the solar disk become observable daily. The Baader AstroSolar Safety Film transmits 0.001 percent of the light and shows the sun in neutral white.
Never look at the sun without a certified solar filter, with any instrument. A telescope concentrates sunlight strongly enough to cause permanent eye damage in a fraction of a second. Check the film for holes and damage before each use, always mount the filter at the front of the telescope opening, and cover or remove the finder scope.

Features
- Baader AstroSolar Safety Film (ND5, white light)
- Light transmission 0.001 percent
- Clearance Approximately 105 mm
- Fits common tube sizes of 130 mm telescopes
- Plastic frame, mounts over the telescope opening
Compatibility
Measure the outer diameter of your telescope tube and compare it to the fitting above; the filter should clamp firmly over the opening and never be blown off by the wind.
